Celebrate the magic of the season with Visit Fish Creek’s Hometown Holiday. We’ve partnered with our community and local businesses to make Fish Creek a must have stop for the Holidays.
2:00 PM – 4:45 PM: Gibraltar Fire & Rescue looks to give back to a deserving charitable organization or local family through our Photos with Santa fundraiser at Old Gibraltar Town Hall in downtown Fish Creek. Bring your family, friends, and well-behaved pets to meet Santa and have a photo taken with him. While you wait for your photo, enjoy some cookies and eggnog.
(All pictures with Santa proceeds go to helping a very special family this year: Phoenix Hatch is a remarkable ten year old girl with Marshall Smith Syndrome. This is an ultra rare syndrome and it comes with many medical complications. Recently Phoenix underwent a major surgery which involves a lot of recovery and rehabilitation. Due to this and other unforeseen circumstances, this has resulted in hefty medical bills and a loss of income while they are caring for Phoenix during this difficult period. The Hatch family is hard working and has always navigated through their situation with determination and grace. To know Phoenix is to love her. Her smile could brighten any situation.)
5:00 PM: Join Gibraltar Historical Association for their annual Holiday Event; Tree Lighting Ceremony. Enjoy the charm of yesteryear. We invite young and old to bundle up and stroll down to Noble Square for annual tree lighting and caroling. As snowflakes fall from the sky, Gibraltar School’s Carolers will lead the sing-along as guests sing along by candlelight. Warm your heart with the spirit of the holidays.
Following the celebration, visit Blue Horse Cafe to enjoy steaming hot cocoa and homemade cookies. Then, walk in our quaint little village to enjoy all the holiday lights and businesses.
