Cabin Fever Night: Valentine Prints

At Cabin Fever Night: Valentine Prints on January 25, participants can gear up for February by screen printing their own cards. Using pre-made screens or their own designs – created by cutting an adhesive stencil, attendees can create unique, handmade Valentine’s cards to share or send.
Screen printing is a simple technique of creating a picture or pattern by forcing ink on to a surface through a screen of fine material. It has been used for everything from concert posters to t-shirts, and fine art prints.
“Cabin Fever Night projects do not require any previous art making experience – just a willingness to try something new and maybe get a little messy,” continues Hoke.
The January 25 event includes all art-making materials, music, asian-inspired snacks, sweet treats, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. No pre-registration is required. A donation of $10 per person is suggested. The event is open to participants ages 21 and older.
