Door County Maritime Museum

The Door County Maritime Museum offers three visitor experiences. Cana Island Lighthouse, located off Cty. Q north of Baileys Harbor, is a tourist favorite with its spectacular tower climb. The museum facility at Gills Rock houses the commercial fishing tug Hope and a new exhibit dedicated to piracy on the Great Lakes. Both are open seasonally. The year-round Sturgeon Bay museum, situated between the downtown bridges, offers four galleries and a new stunning in-water exhibit, the immaculately restored Tug John Purves.
