February 3-5, 2017
In its 30th year, Winter Festival continues to bring together “festers” and entertainment-seekers of all ages, from near and far. Door County’s iconic winter event has grown to serve as the “centerpiece” of a VERY full, first weekend in February in the “heart” of Northern Door. At the main festival grounds you’ll find a variety of quirky, hilarious games and activities (perfect for participants AND spectators) hosted by non-profit organizations from across the peninsula.
A DJ sets the festive mood inside the heated tent, where infamous event highlights such as the Stumpf Fiddle Contest, Chili Cook-Off and the Snowshoe Dance take place. Rock out with local celebrities “Bacchus Lotus”, test out your minnow-racing skills or just kick back with some good food and drinks and enjoy a fun-filled, quintessential Door County winter weekend… and a festival unlike anything else.
GET YOUR RAFFLE TICKETS EARLY! For just $2, enter to win one of 5 Fish Creek Prize packages valued between $300 and $500, or TWO sets of snowshoes and poles from Nor Door Sport & Cyclery!
