2015 Winter Festival, February 6-8

February 6-8, 2015

In its 28th year, Winter Festival continues to entertain locals and visitors the first weekend in February. Enjoy family-friendly games, music, food and a festive atmosphere under the large heated tent overlooking the frozen waters of Green Bay. Partake in the Kickball tournament on the harbor, the chili cook-off, minnow racing, a bike toss, candlelight skiing, Fruit Loop fun run and more!

Friday, February 6

1pm – 4pm                Ice Sculpture Carving at Clark Park


6:30pm – 10pm       Rock & Roll Art Night at Hands On Art Studio

7:00pm                      “Feed the Fish” Screening @ Door Community Auditorium 

Saturday, February 7


9am – 10am               Body Pump – Northern Door YMCA


10am – 5pm                Business open for Shopping & Dining


10am – Noon              Ice Sculpture Carving Demonstration at Clark Park


10am – 5pm             Festivities in & around the heated tent in Clark Park

  • Wild Winter Games Outside: Toilet Seat Toss, Ice Bowling, Football Toss, Crazy Golf, Bike Toss, Hockey Shot, Basketball Shot and Wheel of Meat.
  • Fun Festive Games Inside: Minnow Racing, Bean Bag Cannon Shoot, Snowflake and Winter Fairies Crafts, Pie Tin Toss, Marshmallow, Shoot Out, Wheel of Fortune & Paddle Raffle.
  • Live DJ
  • Stage Events: Stumpf Fiddle Contest, Ugly Sweater Contest, Paddle Raffel, Snow Shoe Dane
  • Tasty Food & Drinks: Beer, Brats, hot dogs, pork sandwiches, popcorn, make-your-own-s’mores, hot chocolate, hot cider, baked goods, glogg and more!

10:30am                  Winter Festival Parade – Down Town Main Street


10:30am – 11am      Chili Cook off participants bring their crockpots to the tent


11am – 3pm               SOUP! Homemade Soup & Bowls at Peninsula School of Art


11am – 5pm            Free Trolley Rides throughout Town


12pm – 5pm            Stage Events – Main Tent – Need to give times to:

-       Big Raffle prize Drawings every 30 minutes

-       Announce Chili Cook-Off Winners at 12:30pm
