July 26, 2017 (select specials and features extending until July 29): Join us for a night of Art under the stars, as Fish Creek celebrates it's superior nightlife, culinary scene, arts and culture as well as unique retail options throughout town. Travel by foot or by car to several Fish Creek businesses, who will host "mini-events" right in their stores. Watch an artist create their next masterpiece, sample delicious "dark" red wine, go to a trunk show at your favorite shop and enjoy specials and artistic features all throughout town...the possibilities for this night are endless. Art After Dark will be held in conjunction with the Door County Plein Air Festival's "Sunset & Nocturne Paint Out", where over 40 artists from across the country will be featured painting in Clark Park an around downtown Fish Creek. Art After Dark festivities will culminate on July 26th with certain specials and features extending through July 29th. Although this event is one to highlight Fish Creek's unique attributes, Art After Dark exists EVERY night in Fish Creek, through top-notch performing arts venues, excellent restaurants, natural scenic beauty and so much more. Fish Creek’s summer concerts can be heard on Tuesday afternoons at 2:30pm at the Noble Square Park from mid-June to mid-August. Grab a chair or a blanket and settle in to enjoy the vast variety of entertainment! These concerts are free and offer an opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery of Fish Creek. Music ranges from blues, classical, jazz and more. This family fun experience allows for music lovers to see the wide talent that surrounds our peninsula.

Saturday, May 7, 2016 The entire course of this wildly popular half marathon is set on the traffic-free, paved surfaces of beautiful Peninsula State Park. U.S. Track and Field certified, the race winds through the park, giving runners breathtaking views of the water, shaded areas through the woods, and challenging hills through one of Wisconsin's most beautiful parks. The race starts and finishes near Nicolet Beach. For those runners not quite up for the challenge of 13+ miles, the Nicolet Bay 5k begins after the start of the half marathon. The race runs past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and Welcker's Point, finishing at the same finish line as the half marathon. The main entrance to Peninsula State Park is located in downtown Fish Creek.   Race Information Join us for the Hairpin 5K Run/Walk in Fish Creek on July 4 at 8:00 AM!   This is a great 4th of July tradition for runners and walkers of all ages.  This event fills up and is capped at 1400 participants, so register early!  Timing chips for runners are limited to 1100.  Walkers are not timed.   Please note our new starting time is 8:00 AM.  This earlier starting time allows runners and families more time to enjoy other festive holiday plans.   Registration May 1 - June 27: Register online, by mail or in person at the Fish Creek Information Center, 4097 Hwy 42, located in the same building as the post office and library. June 28 - July 2: Register at the Fish Creek Information Center only. July 3: Registration moves to the Gibraltar Town Hall, 4176 Maple Street, at the corner of Maple and Spruce.  Register from 1-4PM. Timing chips for runners are limited and may not be available the day before the race.  If timing chips are no longer available runners and walkers may still sign up to participate, but will not be timed. July 4: Register at the Gibraltar Town Hall from 6:30-7:30 AM. Timing chips are limited and may not be available on race day morning. If timing chips are no longer available runners and walkers may still sign up to participate, but will not be timed. Note:  Online registrants please print and bring your confirmation form with you to packet pickup. The water station is located near mile 2.  Strollers are allowed; however dogs and bikes are not allowed.  Please avoid using Hwy 42 prior to the race.   Awards Join us for the Awards Ceremony at the Gibraltar Town Hall at 9:15 AM. Trophies, created by Off the Wheel Pottery in Egg Harbor, will be awarded to the overall male/female winners and top male/female master runners. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age group divisions: (5-9) (10-14) (15-19) (20-24) (25-29) (30-34) (35-39) (40-44) (45-49) (50-54) (55-59) (60-64) (65-69) (70+)

Fish Creek retailers will showcase special sale merchandise both inside and outside of their shops for unbeatable sales all weekend long! Featuring a historic downtown, Founders Square and Top of the Hill Shops, Fish Creek is a walker-friendly town full of quaint shops, charming boutiques and unique galleries. For those not so fond of walking; free trolley rides will be offered throughout the village on Saturday. Look for the Trolley stop signs to be able to hop on! Other Saturday Happenings: The Settlement Shops are hosting their Fall Art Fair on Saturday from 10am - 5pm. Local and regional artists will be exhibiting their work in a relaxing setting that promises a fun, personal shopping experience. Meet the artists and hear the story behind their work. Orchard Country Winery & Market will be holding their Annual Fall Harvest Festival. Enjoy complimentary wine and farm market food tasting, pick-your-own apples, horse-drawn wagon rides, free guided tours, inflatable bouncer, pumpkin bowling, and more. Fun contests include: apple pie eating and apple cider donut eating. Top of the Hill Shops will be holding "Taste of the Top" complete with food, music and outside vendors and sales!
