The entire course of this wildly popular half marathon is set on the traffic-free, paved surfaces of Peninsula State Park. U.S. Track and Field certified, this race winds through the park, giving runners breathtaking views of the water, shaded areas through the woods, and challenging hills through one of Wisconsin\'s most beautiful parks. In conjunction with the Gibraltar Historical Association, the storied town of Fish Creek hosts a weekend-long celebration dedicated to the rich history of Gibraltar Township. Learn of early Fish Creek settlers, take a historic walking tour, tour the famed Noble House, enjoy musical performances and more.

Traditionally held on the morning of the 4th of July, the Hairpin Run is a fun 5K run/ walk for all ages and abilities. The course begins at the base of the Fish Creek bluff and winds back down through picturesque Cottage Row. Registration at the Old Gibraltar Town Hall from 6:30-7:30am. Race begins at 8:30am.

The first Saturday in July, Fish Creek hosts a traditional celebration of Independence Day at the picturesque setting of Clark Park\'s waterfront. Bring the entire family for old-time games for the kids; a dunk tank, live music including Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns; tasty summer treats and cold drinks. The night is capped off with an awesome fireworks display over the bay, beginning at 10pm.

Hosted by the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek, this is the largest outdoor painting festival of its kind in the Midwest. Nationally recognized artists from around the country can be seen creating their paintings throughout Fish Creek, capturing the diverse beauty of Door County during the fifth annual Door County Plein Air Festival. Both public and private ticketed happenings bring featured artists together with art appreciators.

This is the one weekend each year Fish Creek retailers bring special sale merchandise outside of their shops for unbeatable end-of-season savings. Grab a bite to eat at one of our wonderful restaurants, stroll the leaf swept sidewalks and enjoy Fish Creek\'s charming shops, galleries, and boutiques with amazing sales both inside and out.

We put the \"eek!\" in Fish Creek during our hometown Halloween celebration. Goblins and witches of all ages look forward to our family-friendly, fun-filled weekend. Highlights include a Haunting Halloween parade, mask making for kids, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, ghost tours and costume parties for both kids and adults.

Fish Creek\'s longest standing tradition, Winter Festival continues to entertain locals and visitors the first weekend in February. Enjoy quirky games, music, food and a festive atmosphere under the large heated tent overlooking the frozen waters of Green Bay. Join in the human foosball tournament, the chili cook-off, minnow racing, a bike toss, candlelight skiing, Fruit Loop fun run and more.
